HAJJ
  • Hajj is an annual visit to the Kabaa in Mecca, during the Islamic month of Dhul Hijja by Muslims who are healthy and can afford the journey.
  • A Muslim must try to make Hajj at least once in his or her lifetime.
  • Muslims from all over the world gather to perform Hajj.
  • The Kabaa is the House of Allah, but nothing is inside it, since Allah is everywhere.
  • It is a cube shaped building, made of stones and covered with a black cloth. A black stone called Hajr Aswad is in one corner.
  • The Kabaa was first built by Prophet Adam (pbuh). Later Allah ordered Prophets Ibrahim and Isma'il (pbut) to rebuild it.
  • The rituals of Hajj are reminders of the actions and sacrifices of Prophet Ibrahim(pbuh), his wife Hajra and their son Prophet Isma'il (pbuh).
